Project Management Specialist

Mission

The Project Management Specialist is responsible for planning, coordinating, monitoring, and supporting the execution of strategic and operational projects within a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment. The role requires the ability to manage complex cross-functional initiatives, ensuring alignment across multiple business functions while delivering projects in accordance with agreed objectives, timelines, budget, quality standards, and regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate possesses strong Project Management expertise a solid understanding of pharmaceutical manufacturing processes, and the ability to operate effectively in a highly regulated environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and manage medium- to high-complexity cross-functional projects throughout the entire project lifecycle.
• Develop and maintain integrated project plans, project milestones, and resource allocation plans.
• Monitor project progress against timelines, budget, scope, and quality objectives, proactively identifying risks, issues, and appropriate mitigation actions.
• Support project governance activities, including the preparation of Steering Committee meetings, Project Reviews, and management reporting.
• Foster effective coordination and collaboration across key business functions.
• Updatin and monitoring project dashboards, KPIs, and periodic reports for senior management.
• Promote standardized Project Management methodologies and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
• Support project portfolio planning and prioritization activities.

Education

• Master's Degree in Pharmaceutical Chemistry and Technology, Pharmacy, Biotechnology, Chemistry, Engineering or other relevant scientific disciplines.
• A Project Management certification (PMP®, PRINCE2®, IPMA, or equivalent) is considered a strong asset.

Required Experience

• At least 5 Y of Project Management experience (at least 3 within the Pharma industry).
• Demonstrated experience managing complex cross-functional projects.
• Previous experience in a multinational pharmaceutical company is preferred.
• Proven ability to coordinate multidisciplinary teams without direct managerial authority.
• Experience managing projects throughout the full project lifecycle, from planning through execution and closure.

Preferred Experience

The following qualifications will be considered a significant advantage:

• Experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing facilities producing sterile products, preferably sterile hormonal products.
• Experience managing CAPEX projects, including Large Capital Investment Projects.
• Experience managing projects related to:
  • New Product Introductions (NPI)
  • Technology Transfer
  • Facility and Equipment Upgrades
  • Manufacturing Capacity Expansion
  • Process Improvement
• Experience working within GMP-regulated pharmaceutical environments.
