Jr Medical Affairs Specialist

The Junior Medical Affairs Specialist will be part of the Global Medical Affairs Department reporting directly to the Medical Affairs Manager and will play a key role in the implementation of IBSA Uro-gynaecology and IBSA Film-Tec Food Supplement medical strategy.

The resource will support the medical plan activities, through collaborating on the implementation of the medical strategy for the product portfolio and therapeutic area, ensuring the correct scientific positioning.

Main responsibilities

• Participate in the organization and attendance of scientific events, congresses, conferences and meetings with HCPs
• Facilitate scientific activities through building an effective KOLs network
• Review and approve promotional and non-promotional materials to ensure accuracy of medical and scientific messages
• Develop medical education tools and assets for internal and external medical educational activities
• Manage and coordinate responses to Medical queries in collaboration with internal team 
• Support the Medical Affairs Manager in performing daily operational activities in the assigned therapeutic area, including administrative and medical affairs operational tasks
• Scientific monitoring: keep up to date on therapeutic developments by monitoring scientific literature and clinical advancements.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in health science or related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry in a Scientific or Medical Affairs role
• Fluency both in written and spoken English and Italian is mandatory.
• Flexibility and scientific agility to change between product and therapeutic areas, functional and/or specialist topics according to business needs
• Ability to “translate” scientific data into meaningful, clear and compliant content for scientific communications and engagement
• Ability to manage and prioritize different topics/tasks, also of a complex nature.
