Position Overview
The Events & Marketing Support Officer will play a key role in supporting the Therapeutic Area team by ensuring the effective implementation of marketing strategies and seamless execution of events. The role requires both strong organizational skills and a proactive attitude, combining operational support with the ability to independently manage projects. The ideal candidate is hands-on, detail-oriented, and capable of translating strategic guidelines into concrete actions.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Event Management
    • Plan, organize, and execute therapeutic area events, scientific meetings, and cross-therapeutic initiatives in alignment with TA guidelines.
    • Oversee all logistical aspects including budgeting, timelines, vendor coordination, and on-site management.
    • Ensure full ownership of event execution while maintaining alignment with the overall marketing strategy.
  • Marketing Support & Operations
    • Act as a key support for the Therapeutic Area team, facilitating the rollout of marketing initiatives.
    • Collaborate cross-functionally to implement marketing automation and process optimization.
  • Operational & Administrative Support
    • Support budget monitoring and reporting, ensuring accurate tracking of expenses and alignment with forecasts.
    • Manage the creation and follow-up of purchase orders in compliance with company procedures.
    • Oversee the production, distribution, and stock management of promotional materials.

 

Requirements

  • Education & Experience
    • Education background in Marketing, Communications, Business or a related field.
    • 4 years of experience in marketing, event management, or operational support, ideally within the pharmaceutical/healthcare industry or in a multinational environment.
    • Proven experience managing vendors, budgets, and contracts.
  • Technical Skills
    • Strong command of MS Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and familiarity with virtual and in-person event management tools.
    • Knowledge of industry compliance standards and promotional material regulations in the pharmaceutical sector.
    • Excellent written and spoken English; additional languages are a plus.
